Tab Grouper is a Chrome extension that helps you organize browser tabs into groups by domain, keywords, or AI-powered suggestions. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Data Collection

Tab Grouper does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data to external servers. All data remains locally on your device.

• Tab information (URLs, titles) is accessed only to perform grouping and is never sent outside your browser.
• User preferences (grouping rules, settings) are stored locally using Chrome's storage API.
• AI features, if enabled by the user, may send tab titles to a user-configured AI service. No data is sent without explicit user action.

Permissions

• tabs / tabGroups — Required to read and organize your tabs.
• storage — Required to save your preferences locally.
• contextMenus — Required to provide right-click menu options.

Third-Party Services

Tab Grouper does not integrate with any analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
